Cometh (3/4)

I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.I have not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.
On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!”Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”
That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.”“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.”
Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’
But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me.
Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other.So that I may come to you in joy by the will of God and relax in your company.
Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.”
“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.
Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.For bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born. We can’t take our riches with us.As he came naked from his mother’s womb, so he will return as he came. He will take nothing from the fruit of his labor that he can carry in his hand.
And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment.
But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in From this time and forever.
Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right.At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently; For when the earth experiences Your judgments, The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life.On the day of prosperity be happy, But on the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him.
The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers!When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look at them?
And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.’
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.
Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
