I have come to call not those who think they are righteous… Luke 5:32

I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent. Luke 5:32	I have come to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance. sin repentance conversion

Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’ John 7:38	And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’ faith Word of God life
But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me. Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other. Romans 15:32	So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company. obedience joy dependence
Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8	For, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. health obedience life
We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born. We can’t take our riches with us. Ecclesiastes 5:15	As they came from their mother's womb, so they shall go again, naked as they came; they shall take nothing for their toil, which they may carry away with their hands. greed materialism heaven
And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. John 16:8	And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. Holy Spirit mediator sin
But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. Psalm 121:7-8	The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore. hope life evil
Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. Hebrews 7:25	Consequently he is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. eternal life Savior salvation
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Revelation 3:20	Listen! In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right. For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. Romans 11:36	For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen. creation worship gratitude
Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life. Ecclesiastes 7:14	In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; God has made the one as well as the other, so that mortals may not find out anything that will come after them. joy life dependence
The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers! Ecclesiastes 5:11	When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes? materialism money desires
And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14	And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come. evangelism end times kingdom
Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16	Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. grace prayer mercy
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.” Acts 19:4	Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.” baptism conversion faith
