| For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “Abba! | Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. | Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil. |
| By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another. | Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples. |
| I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. | I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown. |
| My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed. | I will shout for joy and sing your praises, for you have ransomed me. |
| In You, Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be put to shame; In Your righteousness rescue me. | O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. |

| These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. | I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! |
| Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. | Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. |
| What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.” | Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.” |
| Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body. | Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. |
