  • Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

  • And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
  • Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.
  • But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
  • The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.
  • You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
  • I cried to Him with my mouth,
    And He was exalted with my tongue.
  • And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.
  • All these were continually devoting themselves with one mind to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
  • And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
  • But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who are abusive to you.

You lust and do not have, so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
