- Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
- Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will also help you,
I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand. - Having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.
- For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?
- So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
- When my anxious thoughts multiply within me,
Your comfort delights my soul. - Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
- Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.
- Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down,
But a good word makes it glad. - Because in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.
- Lord, all my desire is before You;
And my sighing is not hidden from You. - Do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
- So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
- And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
- And when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time; for you are not the ones speaking, but it is the Holy Spirit.
- And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
- And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”
- Then Job got up, tore his robe, and shaved his head; then he fell to the ground and worshiped. He said,
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked I shall return there.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.” - Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!
- Yet as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
And at the last, He will take His stand on the earth. - For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. And if I give away all my possessions to charity, and if I surrender my body so that I may glory, but do not have love, it does me no good.Next verse!With image
