- Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
- Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
- In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - For in much wisdom is much grief:
and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
- Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
- But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

- For I know that my redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. - For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
