- Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
- Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
- In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. - This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
- A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
- Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
- Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
