- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. - Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. - Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word. - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
- But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - I have set the Lord always before me:
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God?

my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.Next verse!With image Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
