- Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit. - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. - Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee. - And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
- He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust. - For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
- He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee will not slumber. - The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him,
to all that call upon him in truth. - Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. - Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday. - He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
- Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
- Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men!And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
