- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
- For I the Lord thy God
will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not;
I will help thee. - But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
- We love him, because he first loved us.
- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.Next verse!With image
