- O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
- I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. - And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
- Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
- And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. - I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
- And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
- I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
