  • Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
  • But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
  • Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
  • But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

  • But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
  • Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
