- The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:
pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way,
and the froward mouth, do I hate. - Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel,
and marrow to thy bones. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. - Better is little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble therewith. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
- Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
- And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
- The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,

a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
- O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
- God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend;
but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty. - Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
