- Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
- And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
- Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
- If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
- Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
- Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
remove thy foot from evil. - Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
- Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- I made haste, and delayed not
to keep thy commandments. - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
