- And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- He healeth the broken in heart,
and bindeth up their wounds. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
- Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
- Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel,
and marrow to thy bones. - But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
- Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
- For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
- Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
But let judgment run down as waters,
and righteousness as a mighty stream. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.Next verse! With image
