- You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.
- He heals the brokenhearted,
and binds up their wounds. - A cheerful heart is a good medicine,
but a downcast spirit dries up the bones. - Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.
- Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. You received without payment; give without payment.
- Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
sweetness to the soul and health to the body. - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be a healing for your flesh
and a refreshment for your body. - But when he heard this, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
- Banish anxiety from your mind, and put away pain from your body; for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.
- For, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
But let justice roll down like waters,
and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.Next verse!With image
