- Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
- As God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.
- A soft answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. - Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
sweetness to the soul and health to the body. - Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone.

- Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.
- Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another; do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.
- Very truly, I tell you, whoever receives one whom I send receives me; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.” Are any among you sick? The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.Next verse! With image
