- The Lord is with you, while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.
- Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his presence continually. - When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears,
and rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted,
and saves the crushed in spirit. - Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.
- Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
- One thing I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
to live in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in his temple. - You show me the path of life.
In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Seek the Lord while he may be found,
call upon him while he is near. - Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually. - I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long. - Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than live in the tents of wickedness. - The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us.
- Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known.
- Cure the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- He was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
- Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
- My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God?
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
