- As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. - See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known.
