Bible Verses about the Father
- As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him. - Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
- My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor detest His correction;
For whom the Lord loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights. - But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
- Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
- Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?
- Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
- Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
- He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
- And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
- In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
