Bible Verses about Creation
- In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
- For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well. - For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.
- For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
- Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
- Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
- For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
- So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
- By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. - Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable. - He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. - For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
- Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. - He who builds His layers in the sky,
And has founded His strata in the earth;
Who calls for the waters of the sea,
And pours them out on the face of the earth—
The Lord is His name. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
- And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” - For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
- All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
- Woe to him who strives with his Maker!
Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!
Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’? - Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
