- Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart,
I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings. - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
- Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. - But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
- Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - He healeth the broken in heart,
and bindeth up their wounds. - Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
- The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. - Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.Next verse!With image
