- The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
- Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

and the borrower is servant to the lender. - Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
- For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
- For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
- Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. - And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. - Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
- No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.Next verse!With image
