Bible Verses about Debt
- The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
- Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
- The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender. - Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
- For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.

- Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. - And forgive us our debts,

when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
- No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.Next verse!With image
