Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Debt
- The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
- Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
- The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender. - Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
- For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
- For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
- Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. - And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. - Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
- No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?Next verse! With image
