Lord (4/4)

This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by force, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
Let us examine and test our ways and return to the Lord.Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord!
For who is God except the Lord? Who is a rock aside from our God?For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?
A man may plan his own course, but the Lord makes his steps secure. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts. The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts.
I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation; I place my hope in his word.I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or how tall he stands, for the Lord has rejected him. He does not see the way that men see, for men look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: If you seek me, you will survive. For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek me and live.”
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord. For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.
O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.
Bless the Lord, O my soul; my entire being, bless his holy name.Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!

You shall observe my commandments and obey them. I am the Lord.So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways and merciful in everything he does. The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to place your trust in mortals. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.
When I realized that my foot was slipping, your kindness, O Lord, raised me up.When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he set me free from all my fears.I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
A word is not even on my tongue and you, O Lord, are completely aware of it.Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
The Lord will protect you against all evil; he will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and your going both now and forevermore. The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct. The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way.
When the command is given, at the sound of the archangel’s voice and the call of God’s trumpet, the Lord himself will descend from heaven, and those who have died in Christ will be the first to rise. Then those of us who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them on clouds in the air to meet the Lord. And so, we will be with the Lord forever. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
You, O Lord, are light for my lamp; O my God, you make my darkness turn to light. For it is you who light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness.
God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
