| Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels? | Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels? |
| My son, comply with the commandment of your father, And do not ignore the teaching of your mother. | My son, keep your father’s commandment, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching. |
| I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. | I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth. |
| Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. | Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don’t forget, and don’t deviate from the words of my mouth. |
