The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Psalm 34:10	Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. God seeking
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Psalm 34:13	Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies! speaking evil truth

Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:14	Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. evil goodness peace
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. Psalm 34:15	The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. righteousness listening
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. Psalm 34:16	But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth. evil sin
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:17-18	The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:19	The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. righteousness suffering redeemer
The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. Psalm 34:22	But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. salvation life protection
Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Psalm 37:3	Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. trust safety goodness
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4	Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. giving seeking heart
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:5-6	Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. trust righteousness life
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Psalm 37:7	Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. honesty life patience
Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. Psalm 37:16-17	It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the Lord takes care of the godly. sin money righteousness
The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives. Psalm 37:21	The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers. debt money righteousness
The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way. Psalm 37:23	The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. serving obedience trust
For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. Psalm 37:28	For the Lord loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die. eternal life reliability righteousness
O Lord, all my longing is before you; my sighing is not hidden from you. Psalm 38:9	You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh. temptation worrying sadness

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? Psalm 42:2	I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? soul nearness seeking
Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me. Psalm 42:7	I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me. sadness weakness
By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8	But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life. love worship prayer
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. Psalm 42:11	Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! worship hope soul

For not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.

They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.
