Psalm 71 (3/9)

I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches.
I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your judgments before me.I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations.
Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to dishonest gain.Give me an eagerness for your laws rather than a love for money!
And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.
I hurried and did not delay To keep Your commandments.I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands.
I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have revived me.I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
I have inherited Your testimonies forever, For they are the joy of my heart.Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight.
You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word. You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope.
The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.
Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.
The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments is everlasting. The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever.
Those who love Your Law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble. Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.
Rescue my soul, Lord, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue.Rescue me, O Lord, from liars and from all deceitful people.
I will raise my eyes to the mountains; From where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
He will not allow your foot to slip; He who watches over you will not slumber. He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.
The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in From this time and forever. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Unless the Lord builds a house, They who build it labor in vain; Unless the Lord guards a city, The watchman stays awake in vain.Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways. How joyful are those who fear the Lord— all who follow his ways!
Out of the depths I have cried to You, Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the sound of my pleadings. From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And I wait for His word.I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to live together in unity! How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!
The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting; Do not abandon the works of Your hands. The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.
Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away.O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, Lord, You know it all.You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
