Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.I keep the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your judgments before me.I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your ordinances before me.
“Return to Me,” declares the Lord of armies, “that I may return to you,” says the Lord of armies.Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
To You, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, For You have given me wisdom and power; Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You, For You have made known to us the king’s matter.To you, O God of my ancestors, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and power, and have now revealed to me what we asked of you, for you have revealed to us what the king ordered.
When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your comfort delights my soul.When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.
Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.Keep my steps steady according to your promise, and never let iniquity have dominion over me.
But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
You will make known to me the way of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
So that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.”Yet even now, says the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?
If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.
Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.”Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
Bless the Lord, my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
