You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm. Exodus 14:14	Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. patience dependence protection
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. Matthew 6:14	For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. sin grace forgiveness
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isaiah 43:2	When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. Galatians 3:5	He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith? law Spirit listening
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. John 14:16	I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever. comforter Holy Spirit Father
For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. Romans 1:11-12	For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. friendship strength encouragement
I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! John 15:11	I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full. joy Jesus blameless
I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes. Acts 20:20	How I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house. learning evangelism
But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. John 16:7	Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
