Though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit is on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the God of my salvation.Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.

The Lord is slow to anger but great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.The Lord is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all.The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.
He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth.
Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. Learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands— O prosper the work of our hands!And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!
Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.

All deeds are right in the sight of the doer, but the Lord weighs the heart.People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.
