Though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit is on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the God of my salvation. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry. Psalm 34:15	The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. righteousness listening
The Lord loves those who hate evil; he guards the lives of his faithful; he rescues them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10	You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked. reliability redeemer evil
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6	So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Spirit peace life
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them. Proverbs 11:3	Honesty guides good people; dishonesty destroys treacherous people. reliability honesty
The Lord is slow to anger but great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. Nahum 1:3	The Lord is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7	Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. awe wisdom learning
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands— O prosper the work of our hands! Psalm 90:17	And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful! grace encouragement work
Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. John 3:17	God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. salvation Jesus judgment
Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment. 2 Peter 2:9	So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. temptation judgment punishment
Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. Psalm 33:12	What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. God reward blessing
