So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Romans 12:9	Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good. love evil goodness

But when you are arrested and stand trial, don’t worry in advance about what to say. Just say what God tells you at that time, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit. For the Lord loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die. Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction.

Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, who do his commands; seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you may be hidden on the day of the Lord's wrath.
