God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. | God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land. |
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. | Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. |

You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. | You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary: I am the Lord. |
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! | Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God. |
The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? | The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? |
You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh. | Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You. |
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! | Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. |
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. | But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. |
But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive! | Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life. |
When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. | By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. |
You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger. | For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me. |
If you love me, obey my commandments. | If you love Me, keep My commandments. |
