All things are permitted for me, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.
To You, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, For You have given me wisdom and power; Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You, For You have made known to us the king’s matter.I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love.I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.

My times are in Your hand; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.
Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.
Hate evil, you who love the Lord, Who watches over the souls of His godly ones; He saves them from the hand of the wicked.Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
But as for me, I will sing of Your strength; Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning, For You have been my refuge And a place of refuge on the day of my distress.But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying, “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.”Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise the wife also to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband also does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.
One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination.If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.

The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
