Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed… 1 John 3:2-3

Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3	Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. purification family heaven
For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4	Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. Galatians 3:22	But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ. sin trust faith
For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge; and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control, perseverance; and in perseverance, godliness; and in godliness, brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love. 2 Peter 1:5-7	In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise. Hebrews 10:36	Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. patience obedience receiving
