So (3/4)

Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him— even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen!Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.
It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward.Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Do not deprive each other of sexual relations, unless you both agree to refrain from sexual intimacy for a limited time so you can give yourselves more completely to prayer. Afterward, you should come together again so that Satan won’t be able to tempt you because of your lack of self-control.Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord. Say to him, “Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises.”Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other. That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
