| Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. | Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. |
| And do everything with love. | Let all your things be done with charity. |

| Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. | Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. |
| Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. | And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. |
| Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. | We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. | And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. |

| If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. | And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. |
| May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ. | And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. |
| Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! | Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. | Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. |
| For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. | Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. |
| No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. | No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. |
