Spoke (2/2)

The words of a wise man's mouth win him favor, but the lips of a fool consume him.Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious, but fools are consumed by their own lips.
When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.
Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart. This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’
