But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear.
Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul.Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you. Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul.
