Thank you (2/4)

If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise.If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.
So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father.Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.
Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.
Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.”Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”

I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.
I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
