For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the Lord is against evildoers.

The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.

And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

Train up a child in the way he should go,
