Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is counted wise. When he shuts his lips, he is thought to be discerning.
One who is slow to anger has great understanding; But one who is quick-tempered exalts foolishness.He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.
Because in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.For in much wisdom is much grief; and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.
Blessed is a person who finds wisdom, And one who obtains understanding.Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding.

A fool’s anger is known at once, But a prudent person conceals dishonor.A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.
Many will be purged, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
A fool rejects his father’s discipline, But he who complies with rebuke is sensible.A fool despises his father’s correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
