Go, eat your bread with enjoyment, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has long ago approved what you do.

Go forth, then. Eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a cheerful heart, for God long ago approved what you do.

he leads out the prisoners to prosperity,
but the rebellious live in a parched land.

Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly.
