Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Health
- You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
- He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds. - A cheerful heart makes good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
- Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.
- Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - Don’t be wise in your own eyes.
Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
It will be health to your body,
and nourishment to your bones. - When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.”
- Therefore remove sorrow from your heart,
and put away evil from your flesh;
for youth and the dawn of life are vanity. - For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.
- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.
Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”Next verse!With image
