He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him. Isaiah 53:3	He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. Isaiah 53:4	Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! suffering Jesus sickness

But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
