Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about the Messiah
- He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
- For a child has been born for us,
a son given to us;
authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - To you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.
- Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour.
- And every day in the temple and at home they did not cease to teach and proclaim Jesus as the Messiah.
- To this day I have had help from God, and so I stand here, testifying to both small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would take place: that the Messiah must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.
- Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him a thousand years.
When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.Next verse!With image
