Chinese (traditional)The rich can pay a ransom for their lives,
but the poor won’t even get threatened. A person’s riches may ransom their life,
but the poor cannot respond to threatening rebukes. The ransom of a man's life are his riches:
but the poor heareth not rebuke. The ransom of a man's life is his wealth,
but a poor man hears no threat. The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
But the poor does not hear rebuke. Wealth is a ransom for a person's life,
but the poor get no threats. The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
but the poor hear no threats. A wealthy man pays a ransom to save his life;
a poor man never has to worry about such threats. Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God. Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.Next verse!With image
