Chinese (traditional)Fools’ words get them into constant quarrels;
they are asking for a beating. The lips of fools bring them strife,
and their mouths invite a beating. A fool's lips enter into contention,
and his mouth calleth for strokes. A fool's lips walk into a fight,
and his mouth invites a beating. A fool’s lips enter into contention,
And his mouth calls for blows. A fool's lips bring strife,
and a fool's mouth invites a flogging. A fool’s lips come into strife,
and his mouth invites beatings. The lips of a fool cause strife,
and his mouth provokes a flogging. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”Next verse!With image
