Chinese (traditional)He who covers an offense promotes love;
but he who repeats a matter separates best friends. Whoever would foster love covers over an offense,
but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. Whoever covers an offense seeks love,
but he who repeats a matter separates close friends. He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. Love prospers when a fault is forgiven,
but dwelling on it separates close friends. One who forgives an affront fosters friendship,
but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend. One who forgives a misdeed fosters friendship,
but he who divulges it separates good friends. Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity,
and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage?
He doesn’t retain his anger forever,
because he delights in loving kindness. Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.Next verse!With image
