Chinese (traditional)One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and one whose temper is controlled than one who captures a city. Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. Better to be patient than powerful;
better to have self-control than to conquer a city. One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city. It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Blessed are those who trust in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
They shall be like a tree planted by water,
sending out its roots by the stream.
It shall not fear when heat comes,
and its leaves shall stay green;
in the year of drought it is not anxious,
and it does not cease to bear fruit.Next verse!With image
